Summer School

Summer School Online 2020 (July - August 2020)

Summer School 2020 will be held online starting on July 2, 2020, with the potential for blended in class tutorials. We will be able to share more information with students in the next two months as we get more direction from Alberta Health Services about the public health measures that apply to summer school in stage one. 

Starting May 11, 2020 students may register for one or two courses (and an alternate). Summer School registration will be completed online through one of the following links. For students currently enroled in an MHPSD school click on the CURRENT FAMILIES link. For students that do not currently attend an MHPSD school click on the NEW FAMILIES link.

  • Senior High runs July 2 - 31 - $60/course
  • Math 9 runs July 2 - 29 - $130/course
  • Junior High runs July 2 - 21 - $130/course
  • Adults/Out of province: $600/course
  • International students: $1200/course

Fee Payment

Fees for Summer School can be paid online and information will be provided when registration is confirmed.


Junior High Program

Language Arts at the grade 7, 8 & 9 level; and Math at the grade 7, 8, and 9 level are offered. These programs are for students who have not met the requirements for the next grade level or who want to improve their knowledge of the basic concepts in a particular subject.


High School Program

High school courses will be offered to those students who want to:

  • Upgrade existing marks
  • Complete prerequisite courses
  • Fast-track their high school program
  • Diploma Information
