Summer School

Summer School Online 2020 (July - August 2020)

Summer School registration has closed and will reopen in June for the for 2021 Summer Session.

Summer 2020

Registration is open
until June 26 and can include a choice of full-time or part-time in person learning with a teacher, depending on the comfort level of the student. We will take necessary precautions and will enforce preventative health measures to ensure the learning environment is as safe as possible for students. Diploma exams will continue as scheduled for summer school classes. Summer School will start on July, 2020 at Medicine Hat High School.

Students may register for one or two courses (and an alternate). Summer School registration will be completed online through one of the following links. For students currently enroled in an MHPSD school click on the CURRENT FAMILIES link. For students that do not currently attend an MHPSD school click on the NEW FAMILIES link.

  • Senior High runs July 2 - 31 - $60/course
  • Math 9 runs July 2 - 29 - $130/course
  • Junior High runs July 2 - 21 - $130/course
  • Adults/Out of province: $600/course
  • International students: $1200/course

Fee Payment
Fees for Summer School can be paid online and information will be provided when registration is confirmed.

Junior High Program

Language Arts at the grade 7, 8 & 9 level; and Math at the grade 7, 8, and 9 level are offered. These programs are for students who have not met the requirements for the next grade level or who want to improve their knowledge of the basic concepts in a particular subject.

High School Program

High school courses will be offered to those students who want to:

  • Upgrade existing marks
  • Complete prerequisite courses
  • Fast-track their high school program
  • Diploma Information
