Empower your child's future with confidence

We heard clearly that families are interested in the arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and a variety of athletic options. Since then, we have worked hard to prepare plans that align choices with passions, areas of interest and career pathways, while prioritizing optimal learning. We want families to know about the limitless options being offered to MHPSD students

Arts Academy at Dr. Ken Sauer School

We believe that arts education aligns perfectly with our school values. Curiosity and creativity are at the core of visual arts and performance arts. Offering an inclusive environment is important to us and we know that the arts offer a wide variety of entry points into learning. As we work to meet students’ varying needs, the arts will provide additional ways for students to engage with all curriculum outcomes. We look forward to seeing students engaging in creative expression, exploring projects, collaborating, sharing, and playing, allowing their artistic talents to flourish. Rather than following a specialized stream or academy model, we offer arts-centered learning and fine arts instruction to all students. Our dedicated staff is committed to fostering an inclusive community where inquiry, creativity, and collaboration thrive.

Crestwood STEM School

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through this approach, students learn core subject concepts and skills while exploring these subjects in a hands-on and engaging way. Our STEM program enhances academic performance, develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and equips students with the knowledge they need to succeed in the modern workforce. By integrating STEM into our whole-school approach every student will have the opportunity to learn about technology and embrace their inner innovator. Students will see themselves as capable of changing the world and actively inventing solutions to the problems they care about.
