In this acting role, Cody assumes the responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Education Officer, ensuring that all aspects of the school system operate effectively and align with the vision and values set by the Board of Trustees. He is committed to listening to and understanding the unique strengths and needs of each school so that all MHPSD students can thrive through meaningful, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences.

Secretary Treasurer

Reports directly to the superintendent and, as secretary, to the board of trustees. As a member of the executive team, their responsibilities include: secretary to the board; labour negotiations; collective agreement administration; contract and agreement administration; annual budgeting, financial monitoring, risk management including oversight of international travel and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Administration. As well, the secretary treasurer oversees the financial services, transportation services and facility services.

Acting Associate Superintendent: Learning & Student Supports

The main role of Acting Associate Superintendent: Learning & Student Supports is to further our divisional goal of providing all students access to an inclusive education system, combining meaningful learning opportunities and supportive learning environments to enable student success. Our student services team works collaboratively with schools to help ensure each student feels safe, belongs, and receives a quality education. Together, we celebrate diversity, effectively respond to unique learner needs, and build on individual strengths and interests. Carla will continue oversight in the role of Executive Director of Learning with support from Division Principal Dean Brown, to ensure that every student in our division experiences an optimal learning environment. This role provides leadership for curriculum, instruction, and professional learning by supporting and empowering a team of division-based learning leaders, including Optimal Learning Coaches, Alternative Learning Team members, and other supports. The position focuses on planning and implementing curriculum and instructional priorities, fostering evidence-based collaboration, and building capacity for teachers and school leaders. Through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and ongoing professional learning, the Executive Director of Learning strengthens teaching and leadership practices to meet the diverse needs of students and advance division priorities.
