Medicine Hat Public School Division
Programs
The goal of an inclusive education system is to provide all students with meaningful learning opportunities and supportive learning environments to enable them to be successful. The Medicine Hat Public School Division Student Services team supports schools to ensure that each student belongs and receives a quality education, regardless of their ability, disability, language, religion, cultural background, gender or age.
MHPSD Academies
We heard clearly that families are interested in the arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and a variety of athletic options. Since then, we have worked hard to prepare plans that align choices with passions, areas of interest and career pathways, while prioritizing optimal learning. We want families to know about the limitless options being offered to MHPSD students
Learn MoreInternational Students
We believe that students receive the best possible education when courses are supplemented with co-curricular activities. The International Student Program at the Medicine Hat Public School Division provides opportunities for motivated students from other countries to study regular academic subjects and receive intensive English language training. Our programs prepare students for university or college studies, entrance into the workforce, or recreational and travel pursuits.

Work Experience | Registered Apprenticeship Program | Green Certificate | Dual Credit | Try a Trade
Career pathways give students hands-on learning and a strong start toward their future. Dual credit courses allow students to earn college credits in high school, work experience programs build practical skills, and registered apprenticeships let students learn a trade while working with industry professionals. These opportunities help students explore their interests, develop real-world skills, and make confident decisions about their future careers.
