International Students - Homestay

The school division will arrange for homestay families through the Medicine Hat Public School Division Liaison. These families are carefully selected by the Medicine Hat Public School Division Liaison. The Homestay Program visits every home and maintains regular contact. Medicine Hat Public School Division Liaison selects families who provide a safe, secure and emotionally stable environment and all undergo Criminal And Child Welfare Checks.

Would you like to become a Host Family for an international student?

Medicine Hat Public Schools seeks families to host International Students during the school year: - Semester One (September - January) - Semester Two (January -June) - School year (September - June) - Short term placements 2 or 3 month Host Families are required to complete the following steps: - Complete the online Host Family Application - Provide a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check for each adult in the household from the local police
