Prepare for Registration on Feb 3
Email to Families - January 30, 2026: We are pleased to open our online registration system for new and current students beginning at 7 a.m. on Feb 3, 2026. In preparation for online registration, learn more below.
Prepare for online registration | All current families will need to have access to their PowerSchool Parent Portal account. Take a moment to follow the link and login today. You may have forgotten your ID or password, but we are always happy to help. Give your child’s school a call and someone will be able to help you get logged in. (Please note that our online registration system works best from a laptop or desktop computer using a chrome web browser.) You may receive a link to access your registration form(s) in the next couple of days, however our system for accepting registration will not be accessible until Feb 3 at 7 a.m.
For currently registered students, the online system will automatically send parents an invitation via email over the next few days, with all the appropriate links to register for the 2026-2027 school year. Families can begin completing forms when online registration opens on Feb 3 at 7am. If you have not received the email by Feb 3, follow the steps below:
- Login to your Power School Parent Portal Account
- Click on the SchoolEngage icon on the left-hand menu
- Choose the registration forms assigned to you for the 2026-2027 school year.
Adding a New Child: If you have a child that will be new to our system for 2026-2027 you can follow steps 1 & 2 above to access SchoolEngage, then navigate to the main menu and click on + Add Student and follow the prompts. Once you have added the new student you will see new forms posted, please read carefully and only complete ONE form.

Please note that we will be experiencing a high call volume and if you do not reach us, we will return your call within 24 hours. If you are not sure of your username or password for PowerSchool Parent Portal please click "forgot username or password" and follow the step by step process sent to your email. (didn't get the email? make sure to check your junk mail/spam folder)

Register to Ride | When registering for the 2026-2027 school year, you will be asked if you want to register for school bus transportation for 2026-2027. Once your registration form is complete and you have pressed submit, you will have a new form in SchoolEngage "2026-2027 Transportation Registration - current Student". You should also receive an email with a link to complete the form. If you do not see the form or have questions, please contact your child's school and someone will help you get started. NOTE: This process will need to be repeated for each child. For more information about school bus registration please visit mhpsd.ca.

76 ACADEMY HOCKEY | RINGETTE is an optional program that is available at 5 schools (schools listed below), for students in grades 4-9.

- River Heights School (grades 4-6)
- Vincent Massey School (grades 4-6)
This year 150 students across multiple schools are learning from high level coaches both on and off the ice. Our 76 Academy Training Facility has been a hit with students; we are hearing from families that their children are strengthening skills in both hockey and ringette, while improving academically.
