Prairie Sky Collegiate and Dual Credit | Applications Open

Student Careers & Off Campus Programs | Applications are now open for Prairie Sky Collegiate trades programming and Dual Credit courses for semester 2. There are limited placements, so students are asked to apply as soon as possible if they feel these programs are right for them. Dual Credit is open to students in grades 10-12, offering opportunities for high school students to get a head start on their post secondary education. Students can earn credits simultaneously for both high school and post secondary institutions while taking regular college level courses. Online or blended programs, so students can experience courses from home. MHPSD is partnered with SAIT, Lethbridge Polytechnic, Olds College, Bow Valley College and Medicine Hat College to provide these valuable opportunities, with tuition fees fully covered by MHPSD. This allows students to explore and complete post secondary courses while still in high school, giving them a taste of college academics and potentially easing their transition to higher education.
